A Gorillaz movie is reportedly in the works.

A film about Damon Albarn's digital outfit, Gorillaz, is reportedly in script-writing stages, Albarn told hosts of Radio.com's New Arrivals show earlier this week.

Gorillaz have "performed" one of their new tracks via an Animal Crossing chat show.

Gorillaz are set to tour Europe next year. 

The digital outfit, who debuted their first episode of Gorillaz' Song Machine Radio on Apple Music last week, have announced they'll be embarking on a five-date tour across Europe in 2021.

Originally aired yesterday (Monday, October 19th) the opening show of the four-episode series kicked off with the cartoon band's founding vocalist and keyboardist 2-D, live from Kong Studios in West London. 

Gorillaz are launching their own Apple Music radio show, 'Song Machine Radio', this week.

Set to run as a four-episode series, each edition will be hosted by a different member of the cartoon band, kicking off with 2D tonight (Monday, October 19th) at 10pm BST. The second edition will follow on November 6th at 8pm GMT, with the third airing on November 23rd at 7pm GMT and the final one going out on December 10th at 5am GMT.

Gorillaz have made a new track with Elton John and 6lack.

Gorillaz have shared the full details of their upcoming live stream performances.

In addition to the announcement of Gorillaz forthcoming Song Machine album last week, the digital outfit also revealed 'Song Machine Live', which will blend visuals with a live performance from the group.

Gorillaz’ Damon Albarn will a perform tribute to Tony Allen at the virtual AIM awards 2020.

Taking place today, Wednesday 12th August at 7PM, the Independent Music Awards ceremony will go virtual for the first time, with a number of performances scheduled to take place, including a tribute to the late Tony Allen. The Nigerian afrobeat pioneer, most widely known as the drummer and musical director in Fela Kuti's band, Africa '70, passed away in May this year, and will be honoured with a posthumous Outstanding Contribution To Music Award at tonight's ceremony.

Gorillaz have shared the fourth episode of the ongoing Song Machine series.

After teasing the release earlier this week, French-British artist Octavian has joined the virtual band members in Episode 4, a track titled 'Friday 13th', following on from Tony Allen and London grime staple, Skepta, who released 'How Far' alongside Gorillaz earlier this year.
