A new 4000 capacity venue called Amuse is opening in Brooklyn's Coney Island next month.

DEG Presents, the company behind Williamsburg nightclub Schimanski, are constructing a scalable 20,000-square foot cube-shaped tent within the Coney Island Art Walls centre, with the intention of putting on live music events, club nights, and private events. The venue will run between Memorial Day and Labor Day, with all the expected food and drink stalls on-site.

House of Yes is anything but your typical nightclub. Located in Brooklyn’s eclectic Bushwick neighborhood, this rhinestone studded fun-house has become a haven for all things artistic. While dance parties are among the venue’s most popular offerings, House of Yes is also home to immersive cinema, performance art, circus, theatrical and community group events. Its unique layout makes it especially versatile and ideal for their ever-popular schedule of “costume required” theme nights which range from glitter balls to ‘70s style disco takeovers.

In what has become one of the funkiest modern rites of spring, Red Bull Music Academy bellows and stampedes its way through New York May 01-30, kicking up a polyphonic dust of electronic beats and knowledge. And yeah, there’s a pretty cool party or two, here and there.

It’s nearly that time of year again and to get us hyped up for Vegas, we take a look back at last year’s incredible Miller Music tour in New York City with attendee Lola Scotta.

Tell us about the moment you arrived in NYC for MMT 2013 – how did it feel?
“It was amazing! We arrived at the penthouse, which was the best place for meeting and drinking MGD. Within five minutes we were already dancing! The energy level was epic!”
